I CALL THEM ANGELS...

I CALL THEM ANGELS...

I entered that room with
many a demon in my mind
and as the time went by
they slowly started getting diluted...
as some wonderful fairies
would come singing
wellness in my ears
leave behind fragrance of
their healing touch to
smoothen my frayed nerves
I would find their pure pious glowing
smiles stuck all around me
you may call them Nurses
I call then Angels...

Here's my entry for my own prompt Fragile..which I missed as had to be hospitalised for minor ailment..my above poem is my dedication to some dedicated souls...

Promt: Fragile

Life's Fragility

One day it was laughter,
fun and accolades
life was on a roll

and the next, a dim-lit room
wait  for doctors
life appeared so fragile....

  1. Oh Ramesh, I hope you are now well. Scary to be in the hospital and to feel so fragile. Your poems capture this very good.

  2. Were you writing about you in the first poem? I thought it was really well done. How we fight having to be cared for because we feel so...well, fragile...and it goes against our nature. We do need to give in and let the angels do their work. Both lovely poems.

  3. Nicely done. Nurses certainly are angels - married one.
