Crackers of Smiles Burst.... Haiku..

It's FRIDAY

HAIKU for Rebecca's Haiku My Heart

In India we celebrated Festival of Lights...

Moon hides quietly to
look at a glittering earth;
festival of lights

**

Festival of lights
with get-together of friends;
crackers of smiles burst

**

Crackers of smiles burst;
morning sees her walk through
piles of burnt paper

**

Piles of burnt paper
share stories of a happy night;
ah, springs in her feet

May the Cuckoo Fly Over Him..

Barren , Intense, Worry

May the Cuckoo Fly Over Him..

Dark seeds of worry
grow intensely fast in the
barren landscape of his mind
not his fault, not really
Clouds of love seldom rained
to let the flowers of
confidence bloom
Walking in the deserts of life
sometimes he tries to catch
his own dark shadow
that keeps on changing sides
as the scorching sun moves
from here to there..
Yet skies know that one day
his reality will change
as the clouds will burst open
letting love rain in full flow
Moon too shines offering
gleaming stars of dreams
He will have to look-up
just once, only once
may the cuckoo fly over him
singing that song of hope..
