Odin's love for me
as haiku capture's joy;
words jump out of mead

Words jump out of mead;
a haiku dances in front 
of her gleaming eyes...

  2. Always write for your own enjoyment. I take my first thoughts, sometimes they relate well. As do yours this week. Anytime you write you make your words your own. There is nothing to 'get' about Carpe Deim except the joy of writing and sharing haiku. Some folks count syllables, others breaths. While there are different traditions or styles in writing haiku - the main thing is to write that which comes from your heart. If you have any questions about form or the right words I am not the person to ask. I use rules as guidelines. If you want critique or lessons - ask Kristjaan.
