For Rebecca's Haiku My Heart..
A tired Moon smiles
And says, “Bye, have a good day!’
Earth watches Sun rise..
*****
Sun rises, hopes to make
Earth blush with a soft subtle touch
Sharp beams pierce clouds ...
*****
Dew drops shine, petal
Of rose quivers, oh, sees a
Sunbeam approach it...
*****
Independent we
Yet linked with each other
Haiku family...
One year of Happy Haikus..... thanks Rebecca.. I have enjoyed week after week... RS : )
Such beautiful haikus Ramesh. Keep them coming!
ReplyDeleteI love the first one, Ramesh. It is beautifully poetic with the idea that sunrise carries the hope of making the earth blush. Love that. I like the second one because it sounds almost like a little tryst, the rose petal quivering as a sunbeam approaches to warm it after the rain. And of course, my dear friend, we are one family. None of us are islands. We are independent, but we are here for each other are we not? Thank you for being here and faithfully writing such beautiful verse for the entire year.
ReplyDeleteNamaste,
Noelle
Each haiku a pearl in the necklace that is you, Ramesh.
ReplyDeleteRamesh, your haikus are so gentle and filled with meaning. Wonderful words!
ReplyDeleteRamesh... This is wonderful! Each haiku was a short journey, and altogether they brought me home, to the family. Loved it! Happy one year haiku anniversary!

ReplyDeleteI love the sentiment of the last one.
ReplyDeleteHappy Haiku!
i love the second haiku - i often think that same thing, that the sun makes the earth and the clouds blush :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to be part of this 'family'! Your haikus are beautiful as always. I too wrote one about 'sunrise'... it's that time of year, isn't it? Enjoy your weekend Ramesh
