Rain and Haikus... for Haiku My Heart..

It's Friday and here are my Haikus... for Rebecca's Haiku My Heart..

A dry leaf dances
Moist wind sprinkles cool
Ah, rains are around..

***

I catch a cloud, and
Fold it to make a pillow
Ah, it soaks my tears…

***

Trees take a full bath
Dancing in rain, wind and Sun
Dry them up, leafs shine…

  3. I agree with MMT about the cloud pillow. That is exactly what I was thinking. All very nice haiku. Great images.

  5. Since we are (finally) in our rainy season, I completely relate to the joy of a moist, cool breeze. I especially like this haiku, as it expresses so well that joy:

    "A dry leaf dances
    Moist wind sprinkles cool
    Ah, rains are around.."

  7. I enjoyed the thought of making a cloud into a pillow as well and the connection of tears and rain, and trees taking a full bath.

  10. A great haiku trilogy, Ramesh~ First, the stirrings, evocation of a deep sorrow; then moved to create a safety net; finally, catharsis--happy once again. All told in nature's beautiful imagery. Lovely.
