Uncomfortable Confession...

Haiku Heights   : Confession

Uncomfortable

Invading my space
And  telling me not to feel
Uncomfortable


You are so gracious
For at least not asking me
To pretend comfort..

Uncomfortable
Moon tries to see through thick clouds
Must be missing me..

Well that should make you
Happy, you are not alone
Who’s stung by conceit..

How can one answer
Uncomfortable question
“ Hey, do you like me?”


Answering is tough
Yes, but then asking like that
Indeed courageous..

Confession

“Hey, are you waiting
For a confession?” “No.” Still
Burdened forever..

    Maybe the slightest resemblance to mine, Rameshji. nothing more of a connection, I felt :) but it was like different from what you usually write in a way.

    Great writing here. The ones about discomfort are ones I can especially relate to, with both of my parents recently moving in with me.

    invading my space and telling me not to feel Uncomfortable... I often questioned myself what does this my space means? with a new soul entering my life and sharing all of me, why then I felt strangled because I lost the freedom I enjoyed. Then I learned that life is better with sacrifices and not with compromises.
