A Helpless Moon
A sad moon reflects
as the pool-side vibrates;
a party at night
a party at night
Ah, empty glasses
and likewise souls strewn around;
a party at night
**
She sleeps on the chair
and the door bell doesn't ring;
a party at night
**
Morning arrives;
mirror fails to remember
a party at night
**
he opens his eyes
no noise from her kitchen;
a party at night
**
A happier she;
fresh flowers bloomed after
a party that night.

and I loved the happy end to the party rather a beginning to a celebration.
