Written for Haiku My Heart
Happy Home-coming
Gathering of clouds,
smells of a conspiracy;
her scattered thoughts..
**
Her scattered thoughts;
birds of myriad colours fly
on her patch of sky
**
On her patch of sky
she sees his dark face appear;
a door shuts behind
**
A door shuts behind;
she opens her umbrella
with rains lashing out
**
With rains lashing out
oldie hears door bell ring young;
happy home-coming..
**
Happy home-coming;
rose smiles with a hope of
getting watered..
getting watered..

ReplyDeleteOldies always love to hear young ring home.
ReplyDeleteA rose is indeed a ROSE. I was so surprised at the ending! Well penned! It seems no one else who commented was surprised that "she" was a rose. I must be staying out too long in the California sun!
