muddy, librated, vicious
He Paints a Poem..
Vicious thoughts of past
crawl dangerously
on the muddy walls of his mind;
he doesn't react
he doesn't feel suffocated
he sits and quietly watch them
fading, becoming thinner
with every moment
and he keeps his composure
doesn't hold any of them
Slowly they turn into tiny dots
and he quietly rubs them off
with his own hands..nothing is left
Finally, he feels light,
and liberated..
Muddy walls of mind are cleaner
as he picks up brush of joy
and paints a poem about
Muddy walls, Vicious thoughts
and liberation..
It has come out well, isn't it?
RS:)

ReplyDeleteit has come out very well. Beautiful imagery
ReplyDeleteWe can't go back and correct our mistakes but we can restart with a clean slate and how well you have done so here.
ReplyDeleteExcellent poem and attitude.Very good use of metaphor. My personality does not allow me to wait endlessly in composure...to get to the dot stage. I sand blast the wall back to the original canvas ...no traces left of animosity or toxicity and start again... much quicker...yes I know...it's the antithesis of the Eastern mind set...but there are many colours to the rainbow of life:)
ReplyDeleteOh, if only it was that easy! Love the idea but practice is far from perfect.
ReplyDeleteIt has indeed...words must always be freed...you do so beautifully by the way!
