His & Her ..and Moon Haikus for Haiku Heights

Thanks to SiS of FEW MILES for the prompt ..... Hush..

A hush descends on
His heart; hey, who’s it calling
Her name from the past..

and now my Moon Haikus:

A lovely off day,
After a tiring round of Earth
Moon rests in my thoughts…

Stars note his absence,
Talk in hushed voices, don't
Let the Sun know it..

  2. I must say that your "hush" haiku is/are much less intense than mine--which, now that I think of it, is rather mind-numbing. Thanks for stopping by, Ramesh! I always enjoy your visits.

  3. These haiku's have a voice of one being chased. Your memories are chasing you with a name and sun and moon chase each other. Very nice.

  5. I particularly like 'Moon rests in my thoughts'. You think the moon is resting, only it doesn't...and the moon is the subject of your thoughts.
I like the ambiguity of that line.

  13. perhaps it is his past calling hers.. only to realize the presents entangling is enough for even their future to be together? loved the haiku, RS :)
