Written for HAIKU HEIGHTS PROMPT: OBSESSION
Missed Hugging Moon
Saw it on the edge
Of terrace, I ran like mad
Yet couldn’t catch it
It had just risen
Above, serene and so quiet
Shining in glory
Once again I had
Missed hugging Moon, my friend
Or my obsession?
RS : )

I know how you feel Ramesh, this often happens to me, I rush for the camera and just as I get the focus right a cloud or something obscures my vision, still you can always imagine :~)

Loved it!! For some reason, first I read it moon as mom...that means...'missed hugging MOM'....however later I realised the story was about mom's brother...chanda mama, ur friend!! :)))
ReplyDelete~Keep the Spark ALive..
you have a long time love affair going with the moon. we are all aware of this tryst!
ReplyDeletei was surprised more with Magical Mystical Teacher's fickle romance for Autumn, right on the heels of a languid romance with Summer!
RS,
ReplyDeleteHugging the moon is a never ending yearning.Excellent observation. The desire signifies man's wants kept alive at each cycle.
