Haiku My Heart..
Arrogance Melts Too
(chained free haiku..)
I look up with hope
at a big black group of clouds;
dark skies laugh at me
Dark skies laugh at me
yet, obligingly give rains;
arrogance melts too
Arrogance melts too
as puddles of water grow;
she floats paper boat
She floats paper boat
carrying forbidden dreams;
ah, smoke without fire
Ah, smoke without fire,
rain too gets a lot stronger;
I look up with hope..
RS:)
The rain washes the Sacred Earth Mother and soothes, cools us. We could use it here. I'll remember to be humble.

Wonderfully contemplative haiku and nature's treasures ~ and hope! ~ ~ thanks, ^_^ (A Creative Harbor)
ReplyDeleteVery nice poem.
ReplyDeleteGreater the darkness more is the illumination of light. Light cannot be seen in light. It requires darkness to be seen.
So God takes you through turmoils to give you experience of Bliss.
Excellent reflections.

Arrogance melting beneath the rain of your haiku, revealing hope... just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteyou have used the image of paper boats in puddles before; and why not? it's a lovely childhood memory most of us have....as usual, your set flows like water.....
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I'd put my forbidden dreams on any boat! (But I suppose a paper one is best.) Delightful!
ReplyDeleteFriday Haiku 1 and Friday Haiku 2
Carrying forbidden dreams. This really touches me. Ah, if we only knew what each others forbidden dreams were . . .
ReplyDeletedear ramesh,

I think these are my favorite yet...the metaphor of the papers boats.... Really great!
ReplyDeleteArrogance melts... those are wise words my friend!
