Lake reflects
a crooked moon;
an owl toots

An owl toots
as a bat takes a flight;

  1. Great set - I agree - the first one is lovely, but I enjoyed the progression here too, building up to the last line. A good way to end the month! (I'm going to have a rest now....will see you next year!).

  2. Your haiku is a cascading waterfall , the deeper it plunges , more meaningful it becomes.
