Lake reflects
a crooked moon;
an owl toots

as a bat takes a flight;
nightly hit

    Great set - I agree - the first one is lovely, but I enjoyed the progression here too, building up to the last line. A good way to end the month! (I'm going to have a rest now....will see you next year!).

    Your haiku is a cascading waterfall , the deeper it plunges , more meaningful it becomes.
