HAIKU FRIDAYS.... WRITTEN FOR REBECCA'S HAIKU MY HEART...
Wall calendar smiles
Thinks I count days, doesn’t know
I live by moments
I live by moments
Gathering them in my heart
Joyous stays on top..
Joyous stays on top
Spills on a little hint of smile
That adorns your bright face..

You put a smile on my face today. Great words. I like the idea of the joyful thoughts taking control, very good way to think about things.
ReplyDeletePeace

ReplyDeletethis is the secret of wholeness, oneness.
let the calendar watch
from the quiet stationary wall.
being present
fills all hearts.
thank you ramesh, beautiful!
These are mindfulness haikus, almost a meditation in themselves. They are beautiful Ramesh. Living by moments, in grace and love is what we all must do to see the true beauty in one another. I am trying to send you the film so that you can open it.
ReplyDeleteNamaste,
Noelle
I don't see an email for you. Here is the link.

wonderful...how lucky that you live in the moment
ReplyDeleteI try ;)
Such an aspiration -- to live in and by moments, rather than to let your mind wander to the irretrievable past or the non-existent future.
ReplyDeleteEven when life is rough, I always have happy thoughts...it's my personality, I'm always smiling.
ReplyDeleteVery cheery read, Ramesh. Your words are always so inspiring.
Thanks for sharing.
Hi Ramesh~ You sound so much in love. I feel so happy for you.
ReplyDeleteJoy overrides all and spills over to kiss the smile of the beloved... Beautifully expressed. Love ☺
Many years ago, I had a teacher who said, "Time is not the clock ticking off the hours, time is events."
ReplyDeleteAnd here you are, echoing my teacher, saying, "I live by moments."
Each one of those moments is measured by events.
Thank you.
Brought smile on my face. Thanks.

If we only all could learn the secret joy of living in the moment!
ReplyDelete"I live by moments." That is my wish for all : )
ReplyDeleteI think the first time I really "got it" about living in the moment was thanks to Ram Dass--Be Here Now. I picked up another dog eared copy today at a garage sale and now you remind me. Thanks.
