Rains Catch Her...

Haiku Written for
Rebecca's Haiku My Heart...
because it's Friday..

Rains catch her;
stubborn umbrella
opens not

***

Pearls of water
shine on grass blades;
her bare feet

  1. Sometimes a stubborn umbrella does open but not without exposing all its ribs and spines.

  2. That can be annoying when your umbrella fails you. The second one is beautiful. I like 'pearls of water'

  4. I related these two haiku into one fabulous story. A cool soothing ending to what could have been conceived as a tragedy. There must be some good with pearls of water on your bare feet.

    Peace

    stubborn umbrella
    opens not"

    I remember myself being in this situation as a kid, and a passerby helped me out of it.
