WRITTEN FOR THE SUNDAY WHIRL..
fierce, filters, keep, enough, pieces, train,
cries, gusting, bitter, springs, south, out
Smile Glows Through His Whole Being
In spite of enough filters placed
Couldn’t help unnecessary
Pieces of information
Seep through and make
The train of his thoughts
Gusting at full speed
Jump tracks as the springs
In his mind get loosened up…
A fierce battle with his own self
Ensued bringing him face to face
With a bitter truth that
Made him realize his folly
The muffed sound of his cries
Meant to be picked up by the winds
Travelling north was carried
By those travelling south
But then it happens, isn’t it….
Time to tell about that one
Bitter truth which stemmed
As a deep realization
That his life was weaved by
The thread of his own choices…
His cries and tears washed off the dirt
And today his smile glows
Through his whole being….

Grief is such a painful process but worth the effort when happiness results!
ReplyDeleteI love this. I have come to that realization myself a few times. I think we all must if we are to evolve.
ReplyDeleteI like that his smile glows through his whole being....very nice!

Ramesh, I like how you brought this round to a happy ending. Sometimes, grieving is necessary, so we can enjoy happiness. Well done.

You can only filter out so much. Eventually a step in a different direction may be than answer. The past should be remembered but it can never be changed.
