I Find It Smiling Heartily..
Oh, how it blooms
Beautiful Rose
Diligently nurtured
By an amateur,
With love and passion
Just for the sake of it
For sheer happiness
Would a professional
Have given the Rose
A better life...
I am happy to find it
Smiling heartily
for the butterfly is
Innocently unaware
and doesn't want to know too...
RS:)
Wonderful imagery Ramesh..kind hands always favour over professional hands..Jae
ReplyDeleteHa..a whimsical little piece..lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love this poem, Ramesh. Your words help me to see the garden and the rose. "just for the sake of it" How many good things are like that and we are blessed to have them.
ReplyDeletebeautiful piece Ramesh,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Lovely pace and rhythm.
ReplyDeleteYeah, nicely Ramesh, I love the idea of a rose smiling heartily!
ReplyDeleteIt delights us poor mortals to give nature and voice and who can say if we are mistaken. Wanting them to make us more akin to them. What a pleasure to read this.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful poem, contrasting the actions of an amateur and a professional. Good job!
ReplyDeleteWow, you took those three words and spun them into a theme that I had never imagined. I love three word wednesdays!
