Join me in practising Happiness!!!
Welcome to the space where the magic of writing Haiku; Poems happens as the words born in my heart flow and quietly spill just like your smile does here in the NOW and I pick it and keep in my heart..
Your second Haiku about bridge reminded me of an old Rafi song "Main zindagi ka saath nibhata chala gaya..." love the way you have brilliantly combined both the prompts in the first one... I have reposted my link at Haiku heights, please take a look.
two very interesting haikus Ramesh... they feel connected to me... a hen laying eggs in the midst of chaos... singing through life's next turn... beautiful.
The first one gives me a serious bout of wander lust again. The scene you describe is something I would never see here in OZ and I have a great yearning for it.
Good job combining the two prompts. Traffic chaos and new life comes ignoring the drama. the second one reminded me of the Tarot Trump 'The Fool' as the young man strides out into the unknown blissfully unaware of any danger:)
Such a happy haiku. It "sings" of hope-filled anticipation . Wishing you well! Cathy
ReplyDeleteI love and admire how you sing life, Ramesh.

ReplyDeleteThank you .... well written and delightful.
ReplyDeleteThe first haiku suggest that no matter the ragged side of life, still there may be the fabric of new beauty! And love the zing in the second haiku!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I hope the nest was protected from the chaos somehow! Happy weekend!

ReplyDeleteThe laying hen apparently knows how to cultivate serenity in the midst of chaos!
ReplyDeleteThe Hanged Man
Two beautiful haiku. I enjoyed the imagery you conjure up in each one. I loved the bridge haiku especially.

Very Enjoyable both. I can visualise both situations. Traffic held up and a happy -go-lucky person singing merrily.
