Eager Child

Cut the cake
Or write a haiku;
eager child

Eager child
hides deep inside me;
quite quietly

Quite quietly
celebrates with both;
my birthday

My birthday;
ah, smiley clock strikes
midnight hour

Midnight hour
and the challenge starts;
cut the cake..
