I know I sing It Well..
Written forThe Gooseberry Garden, Jingle Poetry Community's New Home My Life in Free Verse...
Life in free verse - A lovely melodious song Say whatever you wish to I know I sing it well So what if I miss Some notes here and there...
Interesting I wonder if some notes here and there disturb the rhythm. How about been a Beethoven, a Gandhi, a Shakespeare... you'll try to make amend of those missed notes, you'll try to do better and better until you stop missing that notes and sing the song to perfection.
I agree, Ramesh! Sometimes the missed notes are just as important and add to the performance in a subtle way. Nice write! http://charleslmashburn.wordpress.com/2011/12/04/then-snared/
I like this. It reminds me of that old song that goes - '...just sing. Don't worry that it's not good enough for anyone else to hear; just sing. Sing out loud, sing out strong'. x

ReplyDeletelovely way to compare life wid a song and yeah its true that even wid faults, defects or in your words "missing notes", its indeed a melodious song !!
ReplyDeleteLovely read :)
Wow. I live the spirit of this poem.
ReplyDeleteI like how honest this seems. Who cares if we miss a few notes? It's what gets said which is important.
