Life in free verse -
A lovely melodious song
Say whatever you wish to
I know I sing it well
So what if I miss
Some notes here and there...

  1. Interesting I wonder if some notes here and there disturb the rhythm. How about been a Beethoven, a Gandhi, a Shakespeare... you'll try to make amend of those missed notes, you'll try to do better and better until you stop missing that notes and sing the song to perfection.

  2. I agree, Ramesh! Sometimes the missed notes are just as important and add to the performance in a subtle way. Nice write!

  7. I like this. It reminds me of that old song that goes - '...just sing. Don't worry that it's not good enough for anyone else to hear; just sing. Sing out loud, sing out strong'. x

  10. I like how honest this seems. Who cares if we miss a few notes? It's what gets said which is important.
