Thats really insightful. Change is the only thing constant and your haiku shows that acclimitization of the past generation with the future is so important for the continuation of civilization!
ReplyDeleteLoved it as always :)
You have perfect understanding with your wife RS!! You write such amazing stuff like "past is not future" and "energy flows in present;" Beautiful lines!! You out do yourself everyday!! Bravo!!
ReplyDeleteAh Youth! Very insightful.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! With your understanding of the past and her knowledge of now and future trends, it's a gift to find common ground! The present is the gift.
ReplyDeleteYes, you've perfectly described the generation gap! The present is all the generations share. The past belongs to the elders and the future to the younglings!
ReplyDeleteYoungling
Haiku wonderfully describes transition of times.
ReplyDeleteWorld of today's youngling is indeed so different from that of yesteryear's... Times are changing!
ReplyDeleteInteresting take on, for me, a difficult prompt.
ReplyDeletePeace,
