Miracle of Patience...
Miracle of Patience...
Mother pigeon
sits on eggs in balcony;
miracle of patience
Miracle of patience
amidst pots of flowers ;
flight of fresh wings
Flight of fresh wings;
sky’s waiting eagerly
to embrace twin joys..

I love mother pigeon..we all need a little of her patience..even the pace of your words..conveyed the calm she must have to find in order to hatch those eggs of new life..Jae
ReplyDeleteThat patience is vital. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteI can easily picture mother pigeon in my head... I too have pigeons coming in my garden regurarely to see if they can build a nest yet - it's just too cold for that right now.. the patience is on me!

ReplyDeleteI love how this captures time, and patience, in your nine lines... thank you!
ReplyDeleteI just adore the way you make each stanza's start the ending of the one before. Lots of pigeons here in Redondo Beach, too, but more seagulls.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I can see mother pigeon amid the flowers, awaiting the arrival of her young.
