Written for The Haiku Challenge 2012 - Day 5 – February 5th – Theme: 'Ur' Choice - Form: Acrostic Haiku
Also sharing with One Single Impression... thanks to Leo for prompt : Sour Grapes..
Yellow Flowers...
Just opposite
on neighbor’s roof bloom smiles;
yellow flowers
yellow flowers;
ebullient butterfly
strikes a chord
Strikes a chord
ignoring unworthy rose;
Sour grapes..
This last Haiku is in response to OSI prompt
but weaved in here in appreciation of the effort made by SiS
RS :)
I like the idea of a chain of accrostic senryu. And your joyful spirit comes through
ReplyDeleteVery nicely put together. No sour grapes from me.
ReplyDeleteNice triplet of haiku/senryu Ramesh. I especially like the first and second one.
ReplyDeleteAcrostic haiku and nisaiku combined (if I'm not wrong). This requires a lot of effort but you make it look so easy!
ReplyDeleteLoved them! :)
You are becoming an adept weaver of words, Ramesh, with each strand leading to the next!
ReplyDeleteNot Acrostic, but My Choice!
Hi Remesh ~~ Wonderful chain, I can just see those pretty yellow flowers. No wonder the butterfly picked that way. I am also thinking the butterfly is yellow, perhaps a Monarch?
