Written for Haiku Heights Challenge.. Prompt: Hidden
Kept hidden from me
Were all the moments of pain
Mom would always smile...
*****
Deep inside hidden
Somewhere is a little child
Why to hold him, no..

Well, now its Elephant's turn to get angry...
Angry elephant
Ant is not to be seen, she’s
Hidden anywhere..

Liked the first one immensely!! Very tender and sensitive!! Keep that child-like charm alive RS!!......and that Elephant is getting a bit arrogant with the poor Ant!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat first one speaks to a mother's heart!
ReplyDeleteLike the haikus specially the little child hidden... and the ant story continues.... Did you mean *she's hiding somewhere*?
ReplyDeleteDeep inside somewhere is a little child!
ReplyDeleteTop stuff!
I liked the first Haiku the best. It is very true, and does of great job of speaking to the sacrifices of motherhood. Good job!

ReplyDeleteFirst one - So true with all mothers
ReplyDeleteSecond - totally agree with you. why should we hide our inner child.
Third - well, i have not really been following the story of ant and elephant, but brings a smile on my face :-).
Parents often hides lots of things from their children in an effort to spare them pain and misery. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
ReplyDeleteHidden things here and here and here
the second Haiku is sweet! Oh that silly ant hiding.....
ReplyDeletemothers are like that I guess. strong on the exterior to us, hiding what they feel might hurt us..!
