A Withering Rose...Haiku

Haiku
Written for Haiku Horizons
Prompt: Decline

A Withering Rose..

Strands of her hair sway
as winds decline to hold back;
a withering rose

**

A withering rose
loses its layers quietly;
declining hair-line

**

Declining hair-line;
she tries in vain to hold rough
winds passing his way..

**

Winds passing his way
whisper true secrets of life;
love just lets it be..

Her Glass Is Empty - Friday Haiku

Friday's Haiku

for  Rebecca's Haiku My Heart

A faint splash of white
against the vastness of blue;
her glass is empty

**

Her glass is empty;
A thunder storm brews
in far away lands

**
In far away lands
clouds of dreams carry hope;
a half  broken Moon

**
A half broken Moon
and stars sing a lullaby ;
her glass is half full

**
Her glass is half full;
against the vastness of  blue
a splash of dark grey

I Will Take A Walk Alone.. 3WW

What a cathartic experience
As I gather all the negative emotions
In a plastic bag
And tie them up tightly
I want to throw them far away
in the barren lands
But it could be risky
If the plastic gets damaged
And those dark emotions
Get wings once again
Won’t my efforts to walk
confidently with my face lit up
with happy thoughts
Land in jeopardy
Well, I think instead of putting
Them all in a plastic bag
I will let them fly with the winds
Perhaps the comfort of
Melding with clouds and trees
and listening to birds on the way
Will soothe them, I think, for now
I will take a walk alone..

A Love Story ... Haiku

Written for Haiku Horizons
Prompt: Comfort..

Shared with Haiku My Heart..

A Love Story in a Chain of Haiku...

A real hard pillow ;
he plucks a piece of cloud for
her dreamy comfort

**

Winds arrest him for
celestial theft of a cloud;
she sleeps in comfort

**

She sleeps in comfort;
he smiles in the photo
kept on her bedside ..

Her Open Dry Palms.. Haiku..

 Friday's Haiku

For Rebecca's
Haiku My Heart

Clouds gather, chit-chat
and then go away with winds;
her open dry palms

**

Her open dry palms;
colourful paper boats
flutter under fan..

**

She smiles in her sleep;
raindrops, moonbeams together
hit her window pane..

When 'Sweet' Turns Sour..

Connive, Intrigue, Vehement

When Sweet Turns Sour..

My very kind heart
connives with my calculative mind..
who then instructs my hands
to  pick up that
little piece of sweet
with none watching..
Yet, it was intriguing
for me to find it so openly
kept within my reach
That’s when I heard
her footsteps behind me
As a shrill warning
echoed in the room
I vehemently denied
with that piece of sweet stuck
in my open mouth..
Happens, when in early fifties
sweet turns sour for you..
