A Pink Umbrella - A story in Haiku..

Written for Haiku Horizons
Prompt: Sense
shared with Haiku My Heart

A PINK  UMBRELLA..

A pink umbrella
in her hands makes sense;
thundering black clouds

**

thundering black clouds;
birds quietly hide in their nests
sensing a big storm

**

sensing a big storm,
he draws her under the roof;
a pink umbrella

**

a pink umbrella;
his sensible stroke of brush
finishes painting..

  1. I like colourful umbrellas, to counteract the greys and blacks of a thundering storm. Lovely imagery in this haiku!

  2. How interesting to think that the entire scene might have occurred in a painting -- quite a different approach to the prompt. Very nice!
