Written for Poetry Potluck Theme.. Mood, Feelings, Emotions..
Twice a month
Moon goes, rumors fill the sky
Stars say, “His mood”..
Humble and bow before man’s
Height of foolishness
Some places it rains
In others doesn’t, Earth feels
Bad, Man wonders..
Feet feel stones
Sensations knock at Mind’s Door
Mind is elsewhere
oh, the presence in this final haiku - wow. Feet here, mind... where? Lovely.ReplyDelete

Happy First Anniversary!ReplyDelete
I enjoyed all the haiku so much, but I really loved the last one. I love the mind/body disconnect so beautifully expressed.
These are great. That last one sure sums up the mood of the entire piece. Where is the mind that causes so much--feeling?ReplyDelete
