Diwali's Happy Feast of Haikus..

A very Happy Diwali to all the happy hearts visiting this page today.. ‘Diwali’ is India’s Festival of Lights which falls on New Moon’s night..

Here are my Diwali Haikus..

Moon hides to cherish
Beauty of shining Earth, on
Festival of lights

Festival of lights
Arrays of candles burn bright
Inner space glows..

Inner space glows
Kind words, happy greetings
Festival of lights

Festival of lights
Firecrackers burst, deafening
Celebrations..

Added for Haiku Heights Prompt: Clasp

Celebrations clasp
In my fingers, sparkler
Lits my face and soul

Cheers and smiles
..all the way...today..and forever...

  5. Ramesh--
A very happy diwali to you. I wrote something about diwali on my blog for you after your response to the morning glories. Perhaps it will come to your mailbox. Beautiful haikus about a very special holiday. The moon plays a very significant role in your universe to be sure, even though she is hiding tonight.
    Peace,
    Noelle

  9. How beautiful! Your description in the first haiku shines like the moon itself in all it's glory on a clear full moon night. The moon's modesty, permitting the bejewelled earth to sparkle in splendour honouring the festival of Diwali.

Such a wonderful vision you paint, who needs images!

    Happy Diwali Ramesh
