The Wise Pounce on Me
The Height of Haiku Challenge Day 12 Prompt: Flood
One little mistake Attracts a flood of advice The wise pounce on me...
Elephant and Ant Watch moon, flood of emotions Keeps them sombre, night flows..
So they do.. people like giving it more.ReplyDelete
Full moon and the night flows ~
Advice often given with love, does not always work. Nice work. I see the ant and elephant and the ant are still buddies.ReplyDelete
Yes there are those who are always there to give their advice, but not their forgiveness..ReplyDelete
if only we could live like the elephant and ant, together, forgiving...ReplyDelete
Elephant and AntReplyDelete
Watch moon, flood of emotions
Keeps them sombre, night flows..
Ah, dawn of time breaks
trunk and antennae entwined
watching the sunrise.
Love the first one here - very easy to relate to the situation and you catch it.ReplyDelete
Advice is always free flowing :) one can get drowned in them!! :)ReplyDelete
Progression of night
Elephant turns on his side
What happens to ant?
No sombre night for these two irrepressible pranksters :D LOL!!
I guess you are right...people who give advice think they are wise, and they literally, not figuratively, POUNCE on you. Haha, I like this haiku. It serves as a reminder to me not to give advice when it is not asked for.ReplyDelete
I loved the first one.ReplyDelete
It never fails to amaze me just how many wise people I know.
Gotta watch out for those wise people, Ramesh!ReplyDelete
Floods here and here and here
the elephant and ant - bonding duo!!ReplyDelete
Mom and dad.. yep, wise pounce on me for my mistakes too! :(ReplyDelete
